Tom Odell and Jessie Ware to perform at BRIT Awards nominations

Odell will collect the Critics Choice Award tomorrow

  • Flume: The most exciting name in electrionic music in 2013 is Flume, who releases his stunning debut album early in the year - and is sure to be heard for the 12 months that follow. Glitchy, lo-fi and packed with r&b sass, tracks such as 'Sleepless', 'Insane', 'Left Alone' and 'On Top' should already be on your playlists. Awesome stuff.

Tom Odell is set to perform at the Brit Awards nomination ceremony tomorrow, where he will also collect his award.

The 22 year old singer-songwriter has already been announced as the recipient of the 2013 Critics Choice award, beating competitors such as AlunaGeorge and Laura Mvula in order to win.

The ceremony will take place at London's Savoy Hotel, and Odell will be presented with his award by Emeli Sande, who previously won the Critics Choice award in 2012.

Odell is the first male winner of the award, with previous winners including Jessie J, Florence + the Machine, Adele and Ellie Goulding - so he's definitely got a lot to live up to.

Jessie Ware will also perform at the ceremony, with each artist performing one of their hits. The event is hosted by Nick Grimshaw, and will see the full nominations for the 2013 Brit Awards being announced.

Odell previously said of his win, "I genuinely can't believe it. Thank you so much. Looking at the list of female artists who have won the award already, I just hope I don't let the boys down." Both his and Ware's performances will be available on YouTube after the event.

Jessie Ware will also be performing at the Brits nominations ceremony

Odell already has celebrity fans, such as Lily Allen, who signed him to her record label earlier this year. She told NME, "His voice is fragile yet powerful and he sings mainly love songs.

"I'm not usually a massive fan of singer-songwriter stuff, but when I saw him live, his energy onstage reminded me of David Bowie. It's not soppy and moany at all, it's energetic and insightful. And he's totally gorgeous as well!"

The other Brit Award winners will be announced at the Brit Awards 2013 ceremony on 20 February, which will take place at London's O2 Arena and be hosted by comedian James Corden.
