13 December, 2012: While some X Factor finalists are propelled to overnight stardom (James Arthur, One Direction etc), others take a less glamourous path after their time on the show.

Last night in Dublin, Rylan Clark performed at gay bar The George, clearly thrilling the crowds with performances of the tracks that made him a household name during his time on the TV talent show.

The Essex singer was joined by a number of drag queens on stage for the show, as well as 2012 'Miss Alternative Ireland', Minnie Melange.

Clark will tour the UK in 2013 alongside the likes of James Arthur, Jahmene Douglas and Christopher Maloney - who will controversially join the live shows alongside fellow contestants despite having recently angered contestants by calling singer Carolynne Poole a 'c***' at rehearsals. It is also said that Clark and Maloney were involved in a backstage fight during the show. The tour should certainly be an explosive one.
