Kraftwerk return to the UK for the first time since 2004 for eight show at The Tate Modern in London, in February 2013. Ticket details below.

But these are no ordinary shows. The German music pioneers will perform all eight of their studio albums in the stunning gallery surroundings, aided by highly advanced audiovisual shows between 6-14 February 2013.

The band will perform Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991) and Tour de France (2003) in full - along with additional material from their 40 years in music.

The four-piece previously performed the same string of shows in New York earlier in 2012 and now UK audiences will get a taste of the band who inspired a generation of electronic artists.

Speaking of the upcoming shows, Chris Dercon, the director of Tate Modern said: "As a former power station, Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall is an ideal venue for Kraftwerk’s explorations of technology, energy and rhythm. Bringing together music, video and performance, these events will be true gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art."

Kraftwerk performed the same show in New York earlier this year

Tickets for the shows go on sale Wednesday 12 December at 7:30am. Full dates below. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
