Rihanna has been announced as a headliner for next year's T In The Park alongside Mumford & Sons - and response from festival goers hasn't been entirely positive.

The 'Diamonds' singer has been a fixture on the UK festival scene in 2012, appearing at both The Hackney Weekender and Wireless in London alone, and is now set to return for 2013 as well. Alt-J and Jake Bugg are also among the announcements for T In The Park 2013.

"The script and rihanna at T in the Park, rather die to be fair," tweeted Declan Healy, while SSor echoed his sentiments, saying: "hahahahaha the t in the park 2013 line up looks so shite."

"The T in the Park is line-up is, predictably enough, dreadful," says writer and blogger John Reid while others appeared to take issue with Mumford & Sons' booking as much as they did Rihanna.

"So Mumford & sons and Rhianna are headlining T in the park? What a crock of p*ss. Wouldn't pay to see either," added Highliand Yid.

However, it wasn't all bad news for the Scottish festival, with a number of fans speaking of their excitement at seeing Rihanna.

"'We found love' by rihanna at t in the park will be brilliant tho," said Gavin Ross, while others suggested that they were fans of the festival for reasons other than the bands.

"T in the park line up looks fine. I just want to go there for the atmosphere," said Alex St John.

"Moan moan moan about t in the park, I don't care I'm aiming to be too drunk to notice how good anyone is anyway!" said Connie St John.
