27 November, 2012: It's not Christmas until Mariah Carey has begun promoting her latest festive release and appeared on stage wearing something innappropriate in front of some very young children. Well, the moment has now arrived. Merry Christmas, one and all.

Mariah Carey is one of the few modern artists to have recorded a Christmas track which has gone on to become a staple of the festive season, and no matter how you might feel about much of her work, there's no denying her festive hit is an essential at this time of year.

Last night in New York, Carey took to the stage at the city's legendary Rockerfeller Centre for a taping of her TV performance for a Christmas lights turn-on. There were costume changes (two), dancing kids (numerous), Santa (one) and breasts (two). Both of Mariah Carey's costumes did nothing to keep her warm - and little to cover her modesty.
