Earlier this week Brandon Flowers was struck down with a sore throat, forcing The Killers' to cancel their show at Manchester's MEN Arena after just five songs.

Tonight's gig has now been entirely cancelled, with the band's upcoming two shows in London later this week also in jeopardy.

So here at Gigwise, we thought we'd take a look at the other stars who have faced health scares on stage. We look to separate the troopers from the slackers as we show you those who insist 'the show must go on', and those who pull a sicky at the first sight of a sniffle.
