Chris Brown has revealed his professional intentions - to uplift humanity with his work.

In a new interview, Brown speaks about his charity work and music career but fails to address the issue of whether he and Rihanna are back together. The duo have recorded a new track together called 'Nobody's Business' for Rihanna's new album, Unapologetic.

Speaking to Hong Kong magazine Prestige, Brown reveals that he is all heart and discusses his work with children's charities in the US.

"I’ve been involved with [charities] since I was 15, 16," he tells the magazine. "It’s not about recognition, because that’s not what satisfies me. The satisfaction is people that are getting helped or are benefitting from whatever I donate, whatever I contribute to their lives.

"I don’t like it to be publicised. If there are cameras around, it’s cool. But I do it from the heart. When I go on TV and do my videos, that’s the artist Chris Brown. But when I go and do [charity work] it’s just me – it’s just Christopher."

The singer, who enjoys referring to himself in the third person, also discusses his schools programme Symphonic Love.

"Symphonic Love does programmes in schools, like with my school back home. Musical programmes and helping kids with disabilities. I do a lot of stuff with Best Buddies that coexists with that," adds 'Christopher'. "The name comes from a tattoo that I’ve got," he continues - with the magazine saying he runs his hand across his chest to draw attention to the tattoo on his chest. "So my heart is where it’s at. The tattoo “symphonic love” encompasses the positivity of what I’m trying to do – uplifting humanity."

Brown also reveals that he wants the world to be 'inspired' by his art and to promote positivity.

He was recently cited as the reason behind a falling out betwene Rihanna and celebrity friend Katy Perry, who is reportedly angry at the pair's reconcilation.

Chris Brown notoriously beat-up Rihanna in 2009 en route to the Grammy Awards.
