Boyband singer's charms don't work so well on men

Max George of The Wanted may be able to charm female fans without worry, but it seems his appeal doesn't extend to the males in the population.
The boyband star reveals he was once punched in the face for attempting to stroke a man's beard.
Max insists that he was trying to be friendly when stroking the beard but it was taken the wrong way, and ended up getting more than he bargained for.
He told Fabulous magazine, "I got punched by some big dude with a beard, because apparently I tugged on it.
"I didn't tug it, I just stroked it and said it was awesome and he laid into me. I had no chance! He punched me square on the chin."

Max went on to boast about his alcohol tolerance, saying that he's the one who can drink the most out of the band - especially on a night out.
On an average night partying, Max estimated that he'd have quite a bit more than usual to drink, saying, "Probably 15 pints. [But] I'm always on my feet. You'll never see me falling over.
"For longevity, I'd say I was the best drinker in the band."
He finished by saying that he'd never go near drugs, however, adding: "To be fair, it's never interested me. Beer, on the other hand, I probably need to lay off a little bit if I'm honest."
