Labrinth and Emeli Sande yesterday scored a No.1 single with their duet, 'Beneath Your Beautiful', but already the urban pair have been toppled from the top of the iTunes chart by Robbie Williams new single, 'Candy'.

The former Take That singer has jumped to the top of the iTunes singles chart with his single 'Candy', after a performance on last night's X Factor (28 October, 2012).

If Robbie scores a No.1 single this weekend, it will be his first chart topper since his 2009 single, 'Bodies'.

Labrinth and Emeli Sande currently sit at No.2 on the iTunes chart, with UK urban star Wiley at No.3 with his new single, 'Can You Hear Me?'.

On the iTunes album chart, Kylie Minogue's re-recorded Greatest Hits collection The Abbey Road Sessions is currently at No.1. Fun. enjoy their own X Factor boost as their album climbs to No.4 while Calvin Harris' new album '18 Months' enters at No.5.

Other new entries in the album chart come from X Factor winner Matt Cardle and eighties band Madness.

Robbie Williams is set for a busy few months, as his 2012 calendar becomes increasingly busy with the release of new album, Take The Crown on 5 November - the same day he turns on the Oxford Street Christmas lights.

The 'Candy' star announced the plans on Heart FM's breakfast show, and spoke of his excitement at being involved in the festivities.

"Oxford Street is a fantastic place to do your Christmas shopping and it's great to be part of the celebrations." Robbie told show hosts JK and Lucy. "I can’t believe I am turning on the lights! Take the Crown is released on the same day and I'm looking forward to performing for the amazing crowds."
