Prodigy tickets on sale now - catch them live at O2 Brixton Academy

Legendary dance act are not to be missed

  • Even when The Prodigy released their debut album 'Experience' in 1992, Keith was a far cry from the Johnny Rotten inspired mad-man we came to know a few years later.

The Prodigy are set to perform two live shows in December of this year in London - and tickets are now on sale. More details below.

The dance DJ Skills tweeted earlier this week: "Big news!! So excited to announce that I will be supporting The Prodigy on December 18th!! HOOOoooOOOoooo!!!!" The tweet was accompanied by a picture (see below) which show details of the back-to-back nights at Brixton Academy.

The Prodigy promised they would make a return in 2012 with new album How to Steal A Jet Fighter - the new album is yet to materialise, but the news of live shows is sure to please fans.

Speaking about the follow-up to their 2009 studio album Invaders Must Die, Liam Howlett has said: "All the dubstep stuff that's around, we're loving it, but that's not our game. We won't go near it. We've always had respect for the masters who do their game, those boys who do that sound [dubstep], that's what they do. We know what we do, and when any Prodigy record hits it'll still feel fresh."

The poster and line up for the two December gigs

The band have promised they will: 'Finish 2012 in style with a mega line up of beats, bass n noise', telling fans that they are 'coming home' for the gigs.

Tickets are on sale now. Visit Gigwise Gig Tickets for more information.
