Following a year of nonstop success, Emeli Sande is set for a string of live shows in March and April 2013 - and tickets are now on sale. More details below.

The singer will take on a seven date tour, including shows in Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Manchester, before concluding at London's Hammersmith Apollo.

Earlier this week, Sande received the Best Solo Artist award at the Q Awards- an accolade that she gleefully described as "a big one."

She said: "This is a big one. It’s a big competition, so it was really good. I’m very happy about this.

"It feels really nice to get that type of acknowledgement."

Emeli Sande has enjoyed non-stop success in 2012

The tour announcement comes just two days after the star performed on the X Factor results show. Her performance was a duet with another of the year's success stories, Labrinth.

The star has recently released a deluxe version of her debut album 'Our Version of Events'. The new release includes her collaboration with Labrinth, Beneath Your Beautiful', and 'Wonder, a track recorded with producer, Naughty Boy.

She also begins a sold out tour next month, including dates at the Royal Albert Hall and Manchester Bridgewater Hall.
