On Wednesday 19th December Paul Weller, Miles Kane, host Ben Elton and a very special (yet to be announced) guest star will play at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, in aid of the homelessness charity Crisis.

For the second year running, Weller is set to play the annual Crisis Christmas gig and the charity also says the special guest will be "one of the UK's most exciting and successful new musical artists."

Speaking about the gig,  Paul Weller said: “I’m looking forward to getting on stage for Crisis again – these are really tough times and we need organisations like Crisis now more than ever.”

Support act Miles Kane explained, “I heard about Crisis through Paul Weller and I wanted to help by doing this gig. It’ll be an exciting night of music, at an amazing venue, in support of a great charity.”

Host Ben Elton added: "I’ve seen first hand the work Crisis does to transform homeless people’s lives so I had to get on board with Crisis Presents…of course getting the chance to introduce one of my musical heroes didn’t hurt either. I last did that for Paul Weller on Saturday Live in 1987!

"It’s going to be an incredible night – and with homelessness rising, buying a ticket is money well spent."

The gig will also see performances by singers and musicians from Crisis Skylight London, which is one of the Crisis' regional centres to help homeless people transform their lives.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 26 October. Check Gigwise tickets for more information.
