Charlotte Church: 'I have no regrets'

Interview: singer discusses evolution, rock clubs and new music direction

From the voice of an angel to fierce criticism for her binge-drinking ways - Charlotte Church has been through a lot through her 14 years in the music industry. After success as a child star and a pop career of moderate success, the Welsh star is now working under her own steam on an independent project.

The star's new EP One is a refreshingly raw new direction for the star, and one she describes as an evolution of her sound. She's currently touring extensively in small art venues and 'dirty rock clubs'.

We caught up with Charlotte Church on a windy London rooftop to discuss the singer's numerous music incarnations and her lengthy career. Church discussed her days as a pop singer (remember 'Crazy Chick'?), her favourite performances - from small venues to huge arenas including the Hollywood Bowl, why she'd never judge a TV talent show and most importantly - her lack of regrets at anything she has ever said or done.
