Fans of The Rolling Stones refused to let early grumbles over tickets prices put them off snapping up O2 tickets in their thousands after they went on sale this morning.

Tickets went on sale at 9am this morning - but by 9.07am? All gone, proving that even with prices starting at over £100, The Rolling Stones are a must-see live experience.

Earlier this week, ticket re-sale site Viagogo revealed that over a million people had visited their website for ticket information - indicating the huge demand for the 30,000 seats on sale for two O2 gigs.

Every fan attending will be paying over £100 as the cheapest tickets went at £106 - for the priviledge of sitting in Level 4 at London's O2. This includes the £95 price of the ticket and £11 booking fee.

Seats on Level 1 at London's O2 began at £166 rose to £406 (including fees) while floor seating at the November shows was set at a flat rate of £406.

Tickets for a VIP Platinum Experience for £950 were also available - without booking fees.
