Mariah Carey ups security after American Idol Nicki Minaj feud

Minaj takes to twitter to continue the feud

Following on from the video of Nicki Minaj lashing out at fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey during auditions, Carey has tightened security because she is reportedly scared of Minaj.

Nicki Minaj seemingly lost her cool, shouting, “I told them, I’m not f***in’ putting up with her f***in’ highness over there” and with other apparent threats it has prompted Mariah Carey to bring in extra security. Nicki Minaj also took to Twitter to deny claims she had made gun threats against Carey.

US TV host Barbara Walters revealed that she had spoken with Carey explaining: “She said she is very concerned…she doesn’t feel that anything would happen, but ‘Nicki is unpredictable’ and Mariah says she can’t take a chance and she has hired extra security.”

The View host added “Nicki has not apologized, but they have since been together at meetings with producers and judges. There was a meeting yesterday morning. After the meeting, Nicki said to Mariah, ‘I love you, but we might fight again.’ Mariah responded, ‘No, we will not.’”

Minaj didn’t take to kindly to these reports and took to Twitter to vent her feelings. In a series of tweets Minaj certainly didn’t hold back in expressing her thoughts on the next instalment of Carey vs. Minaj. See what was tweeted from Minaj's official account @NICKIMINAJ below:

"All I do is compliment u. That's not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don't have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady..."

adding...

"I thought we resolved it yesterday but I see u want ur pity party to continue. So I'm bout to po dot tea."

and...

"I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we've had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn"

"Barbara walters didn't reach out from our team barbz. I guess we're too dangerous. Don't shake if u don't wannA get shook!!!! LmAooooooooooo"

Minaj hadn't finished yet: "I don't call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave."
