Kate Nash has announced two intimate dates where she will perform new tracks from her upcoming third album My Best Friend Is You.

The first show is at Hackney Picture House, London October 31st, the second will take place at The Shacklewell Arms, also in London, on November 1st. All the proceeds will be donated to Michael Sobell House Hospice.

Kate Nash has previously stated that she will never make pop music again, and has fiercely defended her change in style.

She stated on her Tumblr, "I believe it is important to push boundaries, to try new things, and not to re-create," she wrote. "Art and humans alike are supposed to grow and change. Jeez if I was still the same person I was when I was 16 that would be f**king s**t!"

Tickets go on sale now. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
