Adele has hit out at 'sexy' female pop stars, claiming that having seen the girls in question close up, they don't look like they do in their videos.
In a rare interview, the heavily pregnant singer hits out at singers who use sex to sell records, saying that she's happy to simply stand still and sing.
"I've seen them up close and they don't even look like that," she tells The Sun newspaper. "I just stand there and sing. I'm not worried that I'm a 'plus size' and so much bigger than other artists."
"No matter what you look like the key is to be happy with yourself."
Stars' weight and size has been in the news again recently, with Lady Gaga having come under criticism and speculation when photos from her Born This Way ball tour showed her looking less than slim.
After speculation over whether she was pregnant or binging on italian food, she shared a naked photo sat on the toilet and later a series of photos in a bikini.
