Festival season may have only just ended but Download are already looking forward to their 2013 event and will announce the name of their first headliner this evening (Sept 20).

Rumour has it that the name on organisers' lips is British metal giants Iron Maiden. However, Rammstein also chose today to reveal their Summer 2013 schedule with a slot reserved for Download so maybe they are the band to be confirmed later on?

We asked the Gigwise readers who they would most like to see on the main stage at Donnington next Summer and they delivered us a mouth-watering list of potential headliners.

Take a look through the pictures here to see just who could be making their name at Download 2013.
