Canadian pop princess Carly Rae Jepsen has recently revealed that she doesn’t want to be seen as just another pop puppet, but praised just as much on her songwriting ability.

So, here at Gigwise we were keen to have a little dig around her new album ‘Kiss’, to see if we could find any gems that would make her worthy of this sort of recognition. We were looking for deep, eloquent and intelligent lyrics, and... well, you'll just have to read on to find out if the world's greatest lyricists have anything to worry about.
