X Factor judge Tulisa has announced that her next single will be a festive weepy, following two uptempo releases.

The star is planning the release of her third single already, and will follow club track 'Young' and midtempo track 'Live It Up' with a ballad in during the festive period. The single is likely to clash with the X Factor winner in the Christmas chart.

"I did say at the start that there's going to be a lot of variety when it comes to my music," she says in an interview with Digital Spy. "It's not going to have a set genre, but it'll all have my twist on it. My next single is going to be a ballad."

"I think it's important for every artist to have that ballad that stands the test of time. I really feel like this ballad is one of those songs. I hope it touches people."

She also hints at a performance on X Factor later this year to promote the track.
