The nominations for this year's Mercury Music Prize will be announced in London tomorrow, and the competition is this year set to be fiercly contested, with some amazing albums favourite to pick up nods.

Indie newcomers Alt-J are the current favourite to pick up a nomination, and have been for several weeks now, but faces stiff competition from the likes of fellow newcomers Django Django, Jessie Ware, Kindness and Bright Light Bright Light.

Also in the running are recent releases from veterans such as Kate Bush, Spiritualized, Graham Coxon, Florence + The Machine and Hot Chip.

Ahead of tomorrow's nominations announcement, check out the current betting odds for this year's Mercury Music Prize.
