The 10 most outrageous MTV VMA moments

From Kanye and Taylor Swift to Nirvana fighting Axl Rose, lesbian kisses and much more

  • In 2009 Kanye West was less than happy about the fact that Taylor Swift picked up a VMA ahead of Beyonce and invaded the teen star''s speech to make sure the world knew. Looking back it seems stupid but essentially harmless, America did not see it that way. At one point President Barack Obama even got involved, labeling Kanye a ''jackass''. This moment remains perhaps the definitive moment in both of their careers, which given their relative successes is really saying something.
