Glastonbury Festival ticket prices have been confirmed for the June 2013 event.

Weekend tickets for the festival are priced at £205 plus £5 booking fee and £6 for postage and packaging per order.

This means that one order for a single ticket will set back festival-goers £216.

Children aged 12 and under will still be allowed to enter the festival for free.

"The ticket price covers entry to the Festival site from Wednesday 26th June until Monday 1st July 2013 and, as ever, includes a free programme," said a statement on the official Glastonbury Festival website.

"Once again, the Festival will be raising funds for Oxfam, WaterAid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes (in 2011, more than £2m was raised)."

Anyone wanting to buy tickets must first be registered with a photo through the Glastonbury Registration website by 30 September.

Tickets will then go on sale on 7 October, when those wanting to buy tickets will have to pay a £50 deposit per person.

Full payment for the tickets cannot be made in October, but the the remaining payments can be settled when the booking site reopends on 2 April 2013 in the UK.

Ticketholders will then have a week to pay any outstanding monies and also book tipis, camper van tickets, car parking tickets, and coach and rail travel tickets.

Registration for tickets on the site will close from 30 September until 7 October.

No acts have yet been announced for the June 2013 event - which was last held in 2011 as it took a year off in 2012 - but a number of acts including the Stone Roses, Adele and the Rolling Stones have been mooted as possible headliners.
