Deftones have announced that their new studio album will be called 'Koi No Yokan!'.

The band's seventh album in 24 years will come out on 12 November and was recorded with Foo Fighters and Alice In Chains producer Nick Raskulinecz in Los Angeles.

Speaking about the new record, frontman Chino Moreno told Stereoboard: “Obviously we’re an aggressive band – not the heaviest, but there’s a lot of attack.

He added: "But there’s also this lush beauty that flows within everything that we do, and that’s my favorite part of the band. To me, it’s the epitome of what the Deftones do.”

The band recently completed a North American tour alongside metallers System of a Down and more tour dates are exected to be announced in the near future.

Earlier this year, bassist Chi Cheng emerged from a come after being involved in a serious car accident.
