Adele has made a rare appearace on Twitter to deny rumours that she married boyfriend Simon Konecki in private.
The '21' star was subject of a tabloid storm after a number of sources claimed she had wed charity worker boyfriend Simon, with whom she is expecting a child, behind the prying eyes of the press.
However, Adele took to Twitter to deny this was true, writing: "I'm not married...Zzzzzzz,"
In other Adele news, her huge selling second album finally fell out of the US Billboard chart top ten for the first time since it was released in 2011 this week.
The UK singer's second album fell from number 8 last week to number 12 in this week's countdown after selling another 24,000 copies.
'21' was first released in the US in March 2011 and spent 78 consecutive weeks in the top 10 before falling this week.
The album is now tied with Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' and Def Leppard's 'Hysteria'for the third-longest run in the top 10 since 1963.
