Download DEEP SHIT's first release for free now

Members of Friendly Fires and Foals have teamed up to launch a new dance music label.

Already an occasional clubnight, DJ unit and an NTS radio show, Friendly Fires' Jack Savidge and Foals' Ed Congreave will now also release music through their DEEP SHIT imprint.

The first release on the label will be Congreave's own single 'Heal', which can be heard and downloaded for free below.

A limited edition vinyl release featuring an Al Bassline remix and 'Redux' versions of the song will then follow on 17 September.

It was reported last week that Foals plan to release their "heavier, dirtier" third album in early 2013, which they are currently working on in the studio.

Meanwhile, Friendly Fires' frontman Ed MacFarlane previously suggested that the band may release new music under a different name in future.
