Chelmsford and Stafford played host to the two V Festival sites once again this year, and per usual the line up was varied and the weather was ridiculous.

Punters at in Chelmsford were subjected to intense tropical heat and thunder storms, but it didn't stop them enjoying the ever-eclectic selection of music on offer, with the likes of Snow Patrol, The Killers, LMFAO and many more enjoying successful slots. Sadly things didn't work out quite so well for X Factor star Cher Lloyd, with the singer reportedly quitting the stage in tears after the audience threw a bottle of urine during her set.
