Blur's Hyde Park show to coincide with the end of the London 2012 Olympics last night has been criticised by some who attended for poor sound quality.

The gig, which band members have hinted that could be Blur's last ever live performance, prompted shouts of ‘turn it up’ and ‘louder’ from the crowd throughout the show.

Various fans have since complained on Twitter that it was too hard for them to hear the band's two-hour set, which included the hits 'Parklife' and 'The Universal'.

Guardian and NME journalist Mark Beaumont Tweeted: "Well, I went to Hyde Park, I watched possibly Blur's last ever gig and I still feel like I missed it. Inaudible. Heartbroken #blurtooquiet"

Twitter user James Windle (‏@MisterWindle) said: "hour queue to get in, hour queue for bar, volume so low you didn't even need to raise voice to chat. Blur were good though!"

However, many fans still enjoyed the performance, which also featured comedian Harry Enfield and actor Phil Daniels.

Fee McBee (‏@feemcbee) wrote: "They were AMAZING.The sound was dodgy for New Order, could hardly hear them which was a shame. Didn’t notice sound issues for Blur."

Also, Jamie Skelton (‏@JamieSkelton) wrote: "I cannot use enough superlatives to describe how incredible last night was. Blur were superb. True 'once in a lifetime' trip. #Olympics"

Blur members have suggested that the gig could be the band's final live outing, as bassist Alex James previously said he was unsure "if it will ever happen again".
