Liam Gallagher celebrated performing at the Olympic closing ceremony well into the night last night, with pictoral proof hitting Twitter this morning.

Spice Girl Emma Bunton posted the picture you can see above on her page, showing herself alongside bandmates Mel B and Geri Haliwell as well as Liam Gallagher and Dom Howard of Muse.

Posting the pic, Emma added the sentence: "Party till the break of dawn, and Mel is still l in her outfit."

As you can see in the picture, Liam Gallagher is pulling the trademark pose of 100m sprinter, and Olympic legend, Usain Bolt.

During the closing ceremony Liam Gallagher performed the Oasis classic 'Wonderwall' with his Beady Eye bandmates whilst Muse performed their Olympic single 'Survival'. The Spice Girls staged  their latest comeback with all five members of the group arriving in the stadium via personalised cars, singing 'Spice Up Your Life' as they went.

See Liam Gallagher with The Spice Girls and Muse below:

Bandmate Mel B did likewise, sharing a photo of herself, Mel C, Emma Bunton ,Geri Halliwell backstage with Liam. See the photo below.

However, it was Jessie J who made perhaps the most contributions to the closing ceremony, performing by herself, with Tinie Tempah, Taio Cruz and again with Queen. Dressed in a nude catsuit, Jessie sang 'Price Tag', 'Written In The Stars' and then joined Taio Cruz on a version of the Bee Gees' 'You Should Be Dancing' before singing 'We Will Rock You' alongside Brian May and Roger Taylor.

The closing ceremony bowed out in style, however, with The Who playing 'My Generation' to all 80,000 fans inside the stadium.
