Frank Ocean has spoken about the impact his sexuality revelations have had on his life, thanking fans for their support during his performance at Lollapalooza festival on the weekend.

Speaking at the festival, the R&B star spoke before performing his track 'Bad Religion' from his critically adored album, Channel Orange. Ocean recently admitted a one-sided love affair with a male friend and 'Bad Religion' contains the line "I can never make him love me."

"This next one is pretty important to me," said Ocean to the US festival crowd. "Some of the things I've said in the past month have taken some fear away from myself."

He added: "I'm grateful for that love," after applause and cheers from his Lollapalooza audience.

Ocean's set was made up of tracks from his current album and 2011 mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra - concluding in a 10-minute version of his track 'Pyramids'.
