22 April, 2012: One Direction are doing alright for themselves at the moment, that's for sure.
Despite only playing third on the seventh series of X Factor in the UK, in recent months they have become a worldwide phenomenon, scoring record-breaking sales in the US with their debut album and causing good, old-fashioned hysteria wherever they go.
Currently travelling the world promoting their debut album 'Up All Night', this weekend the five-piece performed live in New Zealand at the St James Theatre in Wellington. Performing hits such as 'What Makes You Beautiful,' 'Gotta Be You' and 'One Thing', the performance put a few more pennies in Simon Cowell's pockets no doubt and won over fans on the opposite side of the globe.
