The Beatles – ‘Abbey Road’ The image that created a million pilgrimages and even more bad holiday snaps, the cover to Abbey Road and the album’s title cemented the studio’s legendary status in the hearts and minds of Beatles fans worldwide. The famous photograph also helped fuel rumours that Paul McCartney was dead and has since been paid tribute to by numerous bands including McCartney himself on his live album ‘Paul Is Live’.
