The Stone Roses: ‘The Stone Roses’ - The debut album from Madchester’s favourite sons was created by guitarist John Squire with much influence from Jackson Pollock and his piece ‘Bye Bye Badman’ about the 1968 Paris riots. The lemons were a reference to the rioters who used them as an antidote to tear gas used by the Police.
