So welcome to 2012 people, the year that the world may or may not end, before it does (or doesn't) however there should be time for some new blood to hit the big time.
Last year saw Chase & Status and Nero smash the charts from humble and niche beginnings whereas the world began to buzz over the already controversial Lana Del Rey.
