November 23 2011 - Last night Wild Beasts played the first of two back-to-back shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.
The Mercury Prize-nominated band, who played a mixed set from their most recent two LPs, were backed with support from Canadian group Braids.
Wild Beastsbroke on the scene with their generally well-recieved debut 'Limbo, Panto' but it was 2010's follow-up 'Two Dancers' that attracted accolades to the group.
The group's third release 'Smother' came out this year and experienced as much, if not more, critical praise than its predecessor, but surprisingly didn't make it onto the Mercury judges' list.
The band have UK dates remaining in Cambridge, Brighton and Belfast before heading for a tour of Scandinavia during December.
