Now that we're past the halfway point in the year, Gigwise thought it was about time we celebrated the Best Album Covers Of 2011 so far.
In no particular order, Gigwise’s round-up includes artwork from both established acts – including The Strokes, Radiohead, Friendly Fires, Lykke Li and Wild Beasts – as well as some stunning debut albums from the likes of Washed Out, Knesset, Cut Copy and Harrys Gym.
So far this year there have also been some huge comebacks from Foo Fighters, The Horrors and Battles, critical success for James Blake and Bon Iver, as well as new solo projects from Cat’s Eyes and Tyler, The Creator.
