July 8 2011 - The T In The Park festival in Scotland kick offs with a headline performance from Arctic Monkeys on the main stage.
The Sheffield band, who also topped the bill at the festival four years ago, delighted fans with a hit-laden set, which also included songs from their recent number one album ‘Suck It And See’.
Day one of the festival also featured performances from Tom Jones, Plan B, Pendulum and home favourites The View.
The festival continues over the weekend with headline slots from Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Beyonce.
