Lady Gaga has said her new album 'Born This Way' is not worth more than 99 cents.
It follows a promotion from online retailer Amazon, which last week twice offered users the chance to buy the album for the cut down price.
Asked if she believed the album was worth more than 99 cents, Lady Gaga told the Wall Street Journal: "No. I absolutely do not, especially for MP3s and digital music. It's invisible. It's in space.
“If anything, I applaud a company like Amazon for equating the value of digital versus the physical copy, and giving the opportunity to everyone to buy music."
Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' is currently top of the UK and US album charts.
