Lady Gaga has threatened to sue to the manufacturers of a new ice cream called Baby Gaga, which is made using breast milk.
The ice cream, blended from mixing human breast milk with vanilla pods and lemon, went on sale at a store in Covent Garden, London last month.
Matt O'Connor, owner of the Icecreamists parlour, said that in a letter the singer described the product as “nausea-inducing”.
He told The Guardian: "She claims we have 'ridden the coattails' of her reputation. As someone who has…recycled on an industrial scale the entire back catalogue of pop culture to create her look, music and videos, she might want to reconsider this allegation.
"How can she possibly claim ownership of the word 'gaga' which since the dawn of time has been one of the first discernable phrases to come from a baby's mouth?"
Baby Gaga has been removed from the shelves by Westminster Council over fears it does not meet hygiene standards.
