Trent Reznor will score the forthcoming movie adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, it's been announced.
The Nine Inch Nails star is set to work with Atticus Ross on the project. The pair recently wrote the soundtrack to the box office hit, The Social Network.
In an interview with the New York Times, Reznor said he saw creating film scores as the “natural step forward” for his music career.
He also said that fans would be able to hear his “limited skills at stringed instruments”.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is being adapted by late Swedish author Stieg Larsson's novel of the same name.
The film, which is due out later this year, stars Daniel Craig and Robin Wright, with direction from David Fincher.
