The nominations for this year's Mercury Prize have been unveiled today (July 21). Chosen by a panel of music industry experts, the shortlist comprises of albums released over the past 12 months. You can see the full list of 12 nominees below and click here for more details about the award.
The Mercury Prize will be handed out at a ceremony in London on September 7. Previous recipients include Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, Suede and Dizzee Rascal.
