Lady Gaga 'Cannibal' Stage Stunt Sparks Outrage Add to My Fav Bands List

Lady Gaga has come under fire after she apparently imitated a cannibal-style murder live on stage.

The spectacle is reported to have taken place during the star’s show at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Tuesday (June 2).

According to The Sun, Lady Gaga pretended to be killed when one of her male backing dancers bit her neck.

The blood-coated singer then apparently struggled in pain before playing dead.

The stunt has angered the organisation, Mothers Against Violence. A representative, Lynn Costello, said: "I wouldn't let any child of mine go to see Lady GaGa."

Fans also criticised the stunt, with one describing it as “over the top and gory”.

Lady Gaga performed a similar version of the routine at the MTV Video Music Awards last September.

The star’s UK tour is due to conclude at Sheffield Arena tonight (June 4).

  • Er no. I was at the gig and I'm sorry but 20 000 fans didnt seem too bothered. She has acted this scene out in her tour since it started in January. Any mother who takes their little kids to Gaga should be reported to social service.

  • She did this the last time she was here and there was no complaint. What a load of rubbish. People are intelligent enough to know it's all for the drama and not real. If you are worried about who is seeing it, then may be they should not be there. It's an amazing performance and the energy in the room is amazing.

  • Oh Please! That's her show, had nothing to do with the tragic killings, you can't take a cohesive show that's been rehearsed to death and remove a routine at a moments notice
