Slipknot Pay Tribute To Bassist Paul Gray

Slipknot have paid tribute to their bandmate Paul Gray, who has died at the age of 38.

The bassist’s body was found in a hotel room in Des Moines, Iowa on Monday.

The band have yet to release a formal statement about Gray’s death, but instead posted a picture of the bassist on www.slipknot1.com/.

The image shows Gray performing on the band’s recent All Hope Is Gone tour.

Foul play is not suspected in Gray's death and an autopsy is due to be carried out today (May 25).

Gray was one of the original members of Slipknot, who formed in Des Moines in 1995.
