David Bowie's son Duncan Jones was close to tears after winning a Bafta in London tonight (February 21).
The 38-year-old – formerly known as Zowie Bowie – scooped the best British newcomer award at the London Royal Opera house for his directorial debut, the sci-fi movie 'Moon'.
Fighting back the tears, Jones said: “I didn't expect to be so emotional."It's taken me an awful lot of time to work out what I wanted to do with my life. And I think I've finally found it."
Show host Jonathan Ross later joked: "That's an emotional start to the show. We don't normally get to that point until an hour in."
Duncan Jones is the only child from David Bowie's marriage to his first wife Angela Bowie (Mary Angela Barnett).
