Al Martino was the very first man to top the UK charts with his 1952 song 'Here In My Heart'.
Martino, who also scored chart hits with 'Spanish Eyes' and 'Can't Help Falling In Love', died at his Philadelphia home aged 82. More notably he starred as Johnny Fontaine in the legendary 1972 film 'The Godfather' - a character based on Frank Sinatra - and recorded the movie theme song.
