Lux Interior founded and sang in the band The Cramps with his wife and guitarist Poison Ivy. The band were part of the 'CBGB' punk movement in New York in the mid 70's and are thought to have created the 'pyschobilly' genre and performed for 30 years with various different line ups. Lux died from aortic dissection on February 4th.
