Amy Winehouse has established a record label to launch her 13 year-old goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield's singing career, according to reports.
Winehouse is understood to have invested nearly £1million into the label, Lioness, as well as a further £15,000 on singing lessons for Bromfield.
Bromfield, who performed on stage with Winehouse last year, is scheduled to release her debut single in March.
She told the News of the World newspaper: "I had a lot of record companies wanting to sign me but I didn't know where to go.
"So for Amy to set up this record company and make me her first signing means so much."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse, who is currently on holiday in the Caribbean, said over the weekend that she would stop her husband from divorcing her.
Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in prison, filed a request for divorce last Monday (January 12th) on the grounds of the singer’s alleged infidelity.
