Some of the most memorable sets at the Suffolk festival in beautiful, colourful pictures

Latitude Festival 2017 had a strong indie guitar presence in 2017 and these pictures capture some of Britain's finest in full bloom.

Photographer Zachariah Mahrouche was down in the pit getting dangerously close to the hyperactive pan-gender electromash six-piece HMLTD, the undeniably photogenic The 1975. And at the same time catching The Horrors as they prepare for their forthcoming album and seeing Placebo play the 20th anniversary world tour and many more; including, it seems, Mumford & Sons' controversial headline set. It was a set especially programmed to have no other competing bands playing at the same time. Not something that ever usually happens.

Despite this unusual blip, the quality of bands that played prove Latitude as a major player in the ever competitive festival market and they seem to be going from strength to strength every year. Hats off to them.
