The first few months of a new year always pass by in something of a haze - one minute you're settling into life post-Christmas, reluctantly polishing off your least favourites from the six boxes of Quality Street you were gifted, the next you're already a quarter of the way through the year. But 2016 seems to have rushed by particularly fast.
Perhaps it's the sheer quality and quantity of amazing musical output that's made the first three months of 2016 pass so fast. With stunning releases from Savages, Christine & The Queens and - of course - David Bowie, it's been a truly impressive start. The rest of the year has a lot to live up to.
