Currently gearing up for the release of their aptly titled The Weird and Wonderful album on 29 September, Marmozets have been hitting the road hard this summer. Watch their exclusive live session above.
Gigwise caught up with them in Brixton at the Prince of Wales pub for a very impromptu session. They chose to perform Jack White's '16 Saltines', a track by an artist they describe as being instrumental in the formulation of their sound. "[Jack White's] like a God to us" confirms vocalist Becca Macintyre.

"We picked Jack White's '16 Saltines' because we all grew up listening to Jack White," said bassist Will Bottomley. "My first show was The White Stripes when they played Blackpool, I think I was about eight and he brings up a lot of memories for us. Which is why we chose this song..."
